SHIP SOFTWARE GAMES

Game licence agreement

Your licence to play Sci-Fi Space Battle, including local play, official services and your consumer rights.

Effective · Version 2026-10-26

Your licence to play

These terms are between you and Ian Warwick, trading as Ship Software Games, for the supplied Sci-Fi Space Battle game. They grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and play a copy you lawfully acquired, including a copy supplied directly or through an authorised store. An authorised invitation or free copy does not require a purchase.

You receive a licence to use the game; ownership of its software, artwork, music and other protected content stays with the respective rights holders. Your choice of store does not make these game terms exclusive to that store.

Local play and online services

You may use the local and LAN features included with your copy. Local and LAN sessions do not earn official career progression. Official online play requires a compatible client, available service and an SFSB Operator account with an authorised invitation or verified ownership from a supported store. Sign-in methods shown by the service connect to that same Operator, career and clan membership. You do not need to buy a second copy from a particular store when another supported route already gives you access.

These terms do not grant a right to redistribute the game, host a public commercial service using it, or obtain a public dedicated-server or creator-tool download. They do not add a subscription or battle pass. You do not need to obtain a second copy from a particular store solely because these terms apply.

Online availability and supported versions can change. We will describe material service changes and give notice where reasonably possible. We do not promise perpetual server operation; this does not remove obligations attached to the product you bought or your rights under applicable law.

Fair play and Community rules

Do not cheat, compromise other accounts, impersonate people, harass them, expose private information or deliberately disrupt the service. Do not distribute unauthorised copies or remove required legal notices. Report vulnerabilities and exploitable bugs privately through Support.

The Community rules explain expected behaviour. Staff may proportionately restrict online access or remove Community content for a breach. Serious abuse can require immediate action. You can ask for a review through support; where practical, someone other than the original moderator reviews an appeal. Account moderation does not automatically remove statutory purchase rights.

Third-party software and content

Third-party components and licensed content remain subject to their applicable licences and notices supplied with the game. Keep those notices with any redistribution that those licences allow. These game terms do not override third-party licence rights, corresponding-source obligations or rights provided by law, including any permitted interoperability or reverse-engineering rights.

Contact Support if you need help finding the notices or a source offer for your exact game version.

Early Access and updates

Read the description, supported platforms and known limitations of the exact version offered to you. Early Access means development is continuing; it does not mean that a future feature, release date or unannounced platform is guaranteed.

Updates can fix faults, change balance and add or change features. Official services may require an update for compatibility or security. We will identify material changes through release notes and explain any action you need to take. Early Access does not waive requirements for paid digital content to match its description or your mandatory remedies.

Purchases, refunds and consumer rights

Your purchase is governed by the selling store or channel's purchase and refund terms alongside applicable law. Use that seller's payment/refund route for transaction problems, and contact us for faults or access problems with SFSB.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This includes applicable rights concerning the description, quality and fitness of paid digital content. These terms do not impose an all-sales-final rule, mandatory arbitration or a waiver of consumer protections.

Ending use and resolving concerns

You can stop using and uninstall the game at any time. Contact support separately if you want your Community account deactivated or personal information considered for deletion; uninstalling does not delete a service account.

If a serious licence breach requires termination, we will explain the reason and a review route where lawful and practical. Ending access does not remove accrued statutory rights or rights under independent third-party licences. For questions or a dispute, contact Ship Software Games.

Our Privacy notice describes personal information separately; it is not permission for unrelated data use.
